Our transportation in America has made in convenient to go place to place on the continent in a matter of a few hours. My first flight to New York from Alabama was only three hours, sweet. For something different is to go to nation’s playground Las Vegas. You know the place with what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. This is a great marketing concept and brings a aura of gaming capital in the U.S. The other game that has recreated the Las Vegas strip is Poker. There is not one night during the week that you will not see a poker tournament at one of the Casino hotels. The one I remember is Harrah’s Las Vegas casino, located on the strip, where the games, food and shopping are flowing pretty much all the time the Harrah’s street style layout. They have available poker games of Texas Hold’em, me favorite, Omaha poker and an old favorite Seven card stud. Daily poker tournaments are usually a no-limit tournament with a $50 buy-in. The regular Texas Hold’em tables can be found with the normally a two-hundred minimum to five hundred maximum buy-in each and every day of the week.
The Harrah Las Vegas hotel has what they call the Harrah’s style of a celebration that usually starts outside in the carnival court of the casino, that is an outdoor lounge for parties and entertainment. At night, when not in a poker room, we can see a Vegas Shows or two. but during the during the day while I am taking part in poker and work on my bluffing, my wife can enjoy spend time at the vast shopping and food stands in what is called a New Orleans syle setup on the Las Vegas strip. Remember “What happens there, Stays there”.
