The hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping is something that my wife and her sister’s really enjoy. They get together and enjoy the crowds and the shopping. They go through each store methodically looking for the right gift for the right person. Many times they leave and come back empty handed saying they could find anything that was right. There is one day that is not as laid back and enjoyable to do the shopping as others and that is Black Friday when everyone is trying to get the thanksgiving deals. I go with them on this day and we have a list of the sales as well as destinations and times allowed for each stop. We are generally at the first store by 4:30AM! I realize that all the other people waiting for the doors to open are just as serious as my wife because they have their ads gripped in their hands as well with items circled. They also have their helpers which are normally their husbands there with them. The doors swing open and the dash begins and I think everyone outside was going for the same items we were because we seem to always miss out on our top items. My wife gets disappointed and then we get a coffee and I spend the rest of the day cheering her up and listening to how next year we are going about our plan differently. She then gets on the phone that night and her and her sisters discuss what happened to each of them. It is the same thing year after year. Not this year though! I have a plan. We will get everything on our list and not at 5am! We will not wait in lines either! There is a website called blackfriday.org that has the major stores ads and you can see them ahead of time and plan out your purchases and then best of all you can order them online! That is the beauty of it! Can you imagine a black Friday and not standing outside of KB toys! We have a lot of kids in our family and where most of the guys are standing outside of Sears our first stop is KB Toys. With my internet idea we can have the ads the entire month of November so when the day gets here we are ready. Every store that we go to is on the list and you can get the same deals! It does not matter what the weather is like because we are not in it! For us we can enjoy the Christmas shopping on another day but black Friday has now become internet shopping day.
