It has been a few years since I had a street bike. Since I sold my motorcycle the motorcycle clubs have become very popular. Going on trips with your motor can be fun during a weekend trip, pack your saddle bags, fill up with fuel and head on to you mountain area mini vacation. Technology sure has made the street bikes more energy efficent and easier to drive. Motorcyclest now have become a community. With all technology it is catching up on the internet with a biker community website, it is a cross between a forum, social network and message board. Sign up and join a internet motorcycle cruiser community, place to share information and our favorite motorcycle or trip photos.

I have been using many resources for genealogy for many years, especially back in the mid ninties with the start of the internet. Some of the resources I have beside the internet are genealogy magazines, relatives and others with the same surname. One of the other genealogy resources that is current used by millions around the word is the massive library of LDS. LDS is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that have engaged in large-scale microfilming of records of genealogical value for millions of family surnames from around the world. The LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah houses over 2 million microfiche and microfilms of genealogically relevant material that is available enables you to have access of on-site research at over 4500 family history centers that are scattered around the world. The LDS church has also compiled indexes of the many genealogy data submissions from its members that has created several massive large databases that have become the International Genealogical Index.
Now the folks of LDS has available a Chat City, which is a chat room that will give folks that are interested in LDS a location to discuss, meet and chat with others interested in LDS. This sevice gives you the ability to talk with other users all over the world in discussions via the LDS chat rooms. This is a free service to bring together other that want to discuss and be apart of LDS. They even could be like me and take part with the LDS genealogy information.

Social media optimization (SMO) is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites. Methods of SMO include adding RSS feeds, adding a “Digg This” button, blogging and incorporating third party community functionalities like Flickr photo slides and galleries or YouTube videos. Social media optimization is a form of search engine marketing.
Social media optimization is in many ways connected as a technique to viral marketing where word of mouth is created not through friends or family but through the use of networking in social bookmarking, video and photo sharing websites. In a similar way the engagement with blogs achieves the same by sharing content through the use of RSS in the blogsphere and special blog search engines such as Technorati.

I found this idea to be so refreshing when I first heard about it. A place where married people could go and talk to each other. As you know if you are married there are issues that come up that are normal to married people and only other married people would truly understand. It is also nice to hear others viewpoints that are coming from the same place as you are. Lets face it to be married is a fun and exciting thing to be. There is always someone there that cares about you but they can have different opinions than yours and that is where having a Married Chat Room comes in. In this situation you can talk to others that have had the same or simular experiences like you. If you dont have anything that you need to talk about you can still learn from it. It is also nice just to talk and make new exciting friends. People from everywhere that just want to talk and make new friends just as we do. If you cant get out as much as you would like you can still make friends in the comfort of your own home. Exchange ideas and just enjoy a fun conversation with other married folks.

Now that Wells Fargo bank has purchased Wachovia bank, will they keep their employee social media network or will they merge with one of there on. as I have discussed before Wachovia was letting their employees access wikis, blogs and profiles that include photos and information about the roles of employees. Their social network allows users to access a corporate directory for contact information and can note whether an employee is available via instant messaging or phone or is in a meeting. Employees also create their own ad hoc wikis and blogs. Most of the Wikis are set up for processes, policies and products. For 120,000 people to access this kind of social networking, their staff must be using Web 2.0 tools and a good rock solid server. Has anyone heard if these two giants will merge their social networks?? Only time will tell.

Keep track of you vehicle mileage. Set your rate of conversion, use your smart phone and direct message from the Xpenser via Twitter and the number of miles traveled for each of you meetings. Done it is in. It has a web interface that allows you to edit previous entries or make new ones, it allows you to export to excel, Quicken software, MS Money, and Freshbooks. The Xpenser service also supports instant messaging,text/sms, email and voice. This looks where everything is going, 2.0 that interfaces with twitter or some service like it.
