Social Catalyst

There is a demand for people in the medical field all of the time. I had a friend of mine that was in another field, had gone to college with a degree and all and could not find work. He was told that since he had an interest in the medical field that going back to school in that field would pay off. He had thought about getting a Doctorate in Health Education before he began his other career. He had looked at becoming a Doctor of Health Education since that is the field that his sister was in and she highly recommended it to him. The advice was good advice. He took that advice and is now making more money then he ever would have in his other field and he is doing something that he enjoys and finds very rewarding. This is something that a lot of people can not say at the end of the day. I would recommend anyone thinking about furthering their career or with any interests to go into the medical field to do it. With today’s economy as it is there are a lot of fields that are unsure to enter but people will always be needing medical help so there will always be a need for hospitals and doctors as well as all the others that it takes to make the medical facilities run. We are all the better for the ones that make medicine their life’s ambition.

There are many people that have trouble with Bladder Control. Whether you have trouble holding it or you just can not go at all there is help out there. For my mother she had a stroke and it effected her ability to have bladder control at all. She was embarrassed to have to admit to it but when she became under my care I had to be told. It is not something that should be she should have been shameful of. I felt so sorry for her trying to be so private about something that effects so many people. After doing research on the subject I found there are so may ways of dealing with this. My mother had an external catheter that she had to use. At first this was difficult for her to except but after I showed her how many people are out there dealing with this problem for different reasons on a daily basis she felt less alone. One day I heard her speaking to her friend about it and I realized even her best friend did not know about her condition. It did my heart good to hear her dealing with instead of denying there was anything wrong. Once she got passed that step she was able to live her life the way she wanted to.
