I think out of all the things that we did to our out door living space my favorite thing is our outdoor fireplace. I find it so relaxing to come home in the afternoons and light a fire. We enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and talk about our day. Something about it is so therapeutic. When I hear things around the outdoor fireplace it just sounds different then if I hear it anywhere else. I think that it is one of those things that just remind you of how lucky we are and how thankful we should be.

When ever I see a bathroom I am amazed at the fact that many of them do not have storage. When it comes to a bathroom there are things that you have to have a space for that you do not want out. When we bought our home there was no storage in the bathroom for things such as toiletries and towels. I do not know what the floor plans thought everyone was going to do after they got out of the shower! We began looking at Bathroom Cabinets and were happy with the results. I am so proud of how it turned out I am glad they did not have any cabinets now. We would probably not have changed them. These cabinets we found look great in our bathroom. A really good friend of ours found an old home that he and his wife fell in love with. They thought about all the work that it would take to fix it up and spent many nights working through what it would take to make this home work. They spent so much time planning what they would need to do they almost lost the house. They bought it and were thrilled. We helped them get started and they began feeling overwhelmed quickly. A solid year of up and down emotions and their project is complete. They decided to fill their home with Modern Furniture to reflect their style. We all work hard all day. One of the rewards that we look forward to is coming home and enjoying a relaxing evening watching tv and spending time with our children. When you work hard you take your relaxation time seriously. One thing that I enjoy is to come home and spend some time in my recliner. I did not think that we wanted to put a recliner in our den because it may give it a much more casual look then we were originally looking for. Once you have a recliner you can not imagine your room without one. We have even put one in our bedroom so we can relax after everyone has gone to bed and read while everything is quiet. Everyone loves to take a look at their homes and make some changes. For us we like to make changes every season. It just keeps things fresh and current. It does not matter if you have a modern contemporary home décor or a more country design just a few changes can inspire you. You can make some changes in color by adding some pillows or by changing out some pictures. We changed out an area rug and it felt like the entire room was different. It is fun to change out all of the furniture and create a different room but after that all you need to do is change little things. Once you decide on the style you want your room to have. To decide on your style it helps to concentrate on what mood or atmosphere you want people to have as they enter that room. Each room can take on a different atmosphere depending on it’s decor and color choices. In decorating is when you truly find out how big little things really can be. The biggest thing to decorating for us is to make sure you surround yourself with things that you like and that they reflect you.

There are so many details to take care of during this holiday season. Groceries to buy and arrangements to make but the thing that I enjoy most is the purchasing of the gifts. My mother wants a wall clock for the kitchen. She has hinted around to everyone that is what she wants. The trouble is she has mentioned nothing else. We have all now matched noted to find out she is getting five wall clocks for Christmas! She is going to get a kick out of this. We have never done this before but she normally tells each of us something different. This time as we each entered her kitchen she would say I wonder what time it is? She would then make a comment to remind her to buy a clock for her kitchen! She went on to describe the style she wanted. Luckily we all got her a different one. This is going to be fun!
