When we dreamed about our pool we did not realize just how big of a part it would play in our lives. After a long day there is nothing more rewarding then to go for a swim. We start our day off by doing laps for exercising because it is less strenuous on our bodies then jogging. We often end our day swimming as well to key down from work. We eat dinners and have gatherings around our pool as well. That being the case it is my job to be certain that our pool is properly maintained. I add the pool chemicals and change out the pool filters as needed making sure the water stays fresh and clean. When we jump in for a relaxing swim or a fun weekend play date with our children I want to know the water is in pristine condition. It is not difficult to take care of a pool but you do have to stay on it. You have to watch your levels and adjust your chemicals when needed. We have had some torrential rains which changed our pool for a time and I had to adjust to keep our water clean. It is worth all of the work because the rewards are amazing.

The time of year is here for us to start thinking about getting our yards in order. For most of us that means we have to pull back our pool cover and get out pools in order. There are tests to run on the water and chemicals to add. It is a lot of work to maintain a pool but it is well worth it. We spend a lot of our out doors time around our pool. We often has lunch and dinner all gathered around our pool. When we choose our home the one thing that we had on our list of wants was a pool and when we saw this one we knew we had to have this house. We did not know that we would be looking at swimming pool liners right away but that just meant we were able to put the liner in that we wanted. The liner does totally change the look of the pool. There are light colored as well as darker liners for swimming pools. It is hard to imagine life without a swimming pool even though we spent may years without one. It is just a fun way to spend the hot days of summer. Even during the autumn months we find ourselves spending time playing board games and having birthday parties around our pool. I guess it is just a huge part of our lives even if we can not actually swim in it all year long. We have floating lights that are in it for the holiday months even though there is snow on the ground! When we have our parties we pull back the cover and decorate the water with lights. Everyone enjoys the beauty of it even from our home that over looks it.

So if you live in Colorado and you have denver directv then you probably also have access to your local cable channels like ABC and CBS. I would like to recommend a show to you that should not be missed this season. It is starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnette and it is called Up All Night. This is one of the funniest shows I have seen in a very long time and I would like to spread the word to absolutely everyone that I know so that they too can share in the joy of seeing this show pop up on their DVR. The show is about a husband and wife who have recently had a baby and are trying to figure out how to cope with the life altering things that happen once a baby is part of your world. The dad decides to leave his job as an attorney and stay home so that Reagan, the mom, can go back to work producing a show called Eva, which is eerily similar to The Oprah Winfrey show.

In the world of music there are many options when it comes to instruments. Of course one of the more popular instruments would have to be the 12 string guitar. The sound that this instrument can produce makes it the choice of many musicians. We have been to many concerts and the most predominant instrument played live is always this guitar. On CD’s the sounds can be tampered with but when at a live concert you get what you get and the deep rich sounds of the 12 string guitar can not be mistaken.

When you are looking at your home the two rooms that get your attention the quickest are your kitchen and your bathrooms. The last home show we attended was a true show stopper with the beautiful tile work that was prevalent in all of the homes. They had some truly beautiful designs that worked well with the spaces they were enhancing. The Kitchen Tiles were done in different sizes which got the attention of visitors as they looked at each home design. Everyone was talking about the tile work and how it would work inside their homes. That is why so many of us go to these home shows. We go and see the things we like and decide if they would work for our homes. Sometimes we are getting new ideas of the latest things available on the market and sometimes we are just wanting to see what our ideas would look like in place. Either way it is fun and exciting for our small town. Designers and home staggers work really hard all year planning for the homes that they are assigned. The builders build new homes and furnish them to the hilt making certain they show well. The people that eventually buy the homes we tour get homes that have every thing you can think of in amenities including the kitchen sink!

After looking at so many garden homes for my sister I realized one thing for sure. You have to be creative with how you arrange your furniture. Of course if you can make use of smaller furniture pieces and ceiling tv mounts so you can hang your TV they do have their charm. Since she is living in her home alone it only made sense to have a smaller space with much less maintenance then the home she moved from. We found a beautiful home that she is very proud of. She was able to arrange everything and decorate it perfectly. It actually looks larger with her furniture in it. I am sold when our family size goes down we will downsize as well. Doing yard work for 30 minutes and being finished is something I can not even imagine. Although I do love to drink a glass of tea in the afternoons appreciating all that we have accomplished during a hard days work.

There are so many people doing projects for themselves these days. Home improvement projects are a popular conversation had by people in social settings and they can take us all the way to the water cooler conversation groups. My older brother has been having issues of late, his back has been bothering him for years. It seems to be his weight that is affecting a lot of it. I am not sure why that would affect his back but it is affecting his disks, the disks are degenerating from what I understand. Hopefully he can get Spine surgery Dallas from a specialist that will help releave his problem. The back is a very delicate item it needs help from someone who specializes in the spine and spinal surgery. Only time will tell if this will work.
