We were on a trip when we noticed a neighborhood we were in had a very comfortable feel and look to it. We tried to figure out what it was exactly about the homes on this street that made them different from the houses on the other streets. One distinctive difference was the fact that each of these homes had window boxes that were filled with blooming flowers. T hey were all filled with red geraniums that just made the look of the home so much more cared for and gave off a warm appearance from the street. We did not realize the difference a window box could make on the curb appeal of a house but it really does. We then began to notice the window boxes planters of all the homes on the street and we were quite taken with the over all look that it gave the street. When we returned home we started investigating what it would take to get window flower boxes on our home. We found that they are not hard to install and they really brighten up the look of the home. Our neighbor also liked the look of ours and is getting her own window plant boxes. The next time you see a house that seems to stand out above the others notice if they have garden window boxes that give them that look you just may be surprised.
