Neighborhood, children and playgrounds
Posted by Comcatalyst.org in Interesting, Ramblings, social communityWe chose our new home for several reasons. We loved the neighborhood feel and it was the perfect yard and home for us. We were so excited when we moved to our new home because they were having an area cleared for a new play ground for different age children. We would be just down the street from it so it made it very handy for us to use. It even has a pond full of large fish. Once they got the area cleared the children were so very excited to see what type of Playground Equipment was going to be installed and so were the parents! When it all was finished we had a grand opening picnic and everyone turned out. We all have small children as well as some that are a little older and they designed this little park for both ages which makes it very functional for everyone. I have been to parks for just the little ones and our older children get bored so this was a great design. Since the park was built I do not think I have seen the park without people in it. I wish every area could have a park within walking distance because they are good exercise and a great social place for parents and children alike to be outdoors.
