When you live out of the city and I mean way out of the city you have certain things that you expect not to be able to get readily and one of those things is the internet. When we lived in town we used the internet everyday and counted on it for many things from emailing friends to our family book keeping. To give that up was going to be a really big challenge. So you can imagine how we were surprised to learn that you can get internet satellite services even out where the wild things are! That is what my kids titled where we were moving when everyone would ask. They could not think of the name of our little town so it became where the wild things are. I have to admit if you spend one night out here without power the kids name of our location is appropriate. Slowly our area has now become built up but we were one of the first out here and being able to go online somehow made us feel less alone! We now have street lights and everything but that does not stop the wild things that go bump in the night….I am talking about the deer!
