When we moved to our new home we knew where everything was going to go. We had mentally moved in before the first piece of furniture was here. In fact we both knew this was the house we wanted because we had both done this in this house and no other. After we had moved in we knew that we were ready for the one thing that we had been wanting since we had gotten married but did not want to purchase until it had the proper place. We had both always wanted a mantel clocks but we knew we wanted the proper mantel first. This home has a place fit for a nice mantel clock and that is what we decide to acquire. We went through many different styles with the ranges of woods and chimes we wanted the right one. We knew we wanted a clock like a Howard Miller clock because both of our parents had some really nice  clocks. We made our decision and we could not be happier. It was our homecoming gift to our family. Our kids have said the same things we said as children that when they grow up they want to have a clock that sings,too. That is how it all starts!
