I think that many people became familiar with what a buff is by watching the reality show Survivor. They have buffs of different colors to represent the teams. After a little research I realize that they are made in Spain and also how versatile a buff really is. A buff can be worn 12 different ways. To avoid any discomfort of a seam they are seamless which helps if you are wearing them while participating in a sporting activity. They do not hold oder or moisture and are made of a microfiber that is a breathable material. I like the Polar Buffs because I am an avid cyclist and it would greatly reduce the cold that I experience during the colder months. It would be more comfortable then my head gear and would stay in place better. Keeping in my body heat and blocking the wind is a major part of cycling comfort in the winter. The fact that it is not a heavy and bulky fiber is a plus for me as well. It also is helpful that it dries fast and is machine washable. The designers have thought of everything when designing this garment.
