Everything my oldest daughter sees she says that would be fun to make or I bet I could make that. It just makes me smile to think of how creative she is and how motivated as well. It can be very diificult to keep up with what she is into because it is basically everything. Her grandmother can relate because she too had the creative drive and as she is getting older she has begun passing out the things that she made which my kids just love. My son was thrilled when he recieved a piece of metal work with two copper deer on it and my middle daughter just loved her crochet blanket because they knew it came from grandmothers own hands. Which brings me to my oldest daughter who when handed a quilt that her grandmothers mother had made took that as a quest that she wanted to lean to quilt like she did. When grandmothers birthday came around the tears that came when my daughter had made a quilt with her hands to hand back to her grandmother. That was a memory that we will never forget and neither will she. In her room she still has that quilt which she has bought a stand for where she sees it everytime she walks in and she said she looks at it as she goes to sleep each night. There is a website that has beginner quilting so that anyone can learn and can make their own happy memories.
