My wife and I done house hunting on the weekends over the years, we search for houses that are off the beaten path and different from the other houses in the neighborhoods. Sometimes we use the home books you have at the local quick stop stores, but most of the time we just drive around exploring until we find a homes for sale available for viewing. In our inspection of homes, the main rooms we check out are the bath room and the kitchen along with the master bedroom and basement. A home must have a basement, a basement is a me man cave. You can get the best price for your house with a little home improvement work by updating you bathrooms and kitchen. Making them extra ordinary with newest sinks and appliances will most of the time close the deal. During our searches we test sinks and toilets. My favorite room is in the kitchen, I see the kitchen needs large appliances with a big stove and a stainless steel sinks. Personaly I like stainless on everything, it is just me. I spend alot of time in the kitchen with family, It needs to be nice. Bathrooms are important also, they need large showers with and enclosed toilet. Do not ask. Anyway of the thousands of homes we have viewed, I would only have the ones with the updates. One day I will find one I like.
