It is that time of year where we start thinking of gifts for the holidays. There are so many new things to choose from or do we stay with tried and true holiday gifts. The giving of nuts as gifts have been going on for at least 80 years. I know I get some nuts every year around holiday time. This is a good thing, If you are not allergic to nuts then you love nuts. Nuts are good for you. Pecan nuts are one of my favorites. I can remember growing up in our front yard we hat a two pecan nut tree saplings that kept getting in the way for playing foot ball in the yard. Dad finally hat to move one of the pecan trees because we kept abusing the pecan nut tree.
