Years ago the Television folks wanted to allow you to purchase a piece of clothing, furniture, handbags or any other products you see on TV. One issue the technology has not been available to the television owners with a point/click and order products you see on TV. Now the folks of YouTube Video has enable their videos to allow you to buy a product or service that you see on the video or is related to the video. Great Marketing idea to offer products and services that relates to the top of the video.
These new YouTube partner videos with recieve click-to-buy special links that will show on the watch page beneath the video. This is the next step in viral marketing and another avenue for marketing and sellers to push their service and products to the large viewing public on YouTube. You know the TV folks are screaming at the top of their lungs, maybe pulling their hair out not getting this service first. This type of service will have on TV now that we are going on the Digital TV standard. I hope that YouTube will make this optional. Otherwise it might come off a little spamy.
